Paracord Knife Wrap

I used paracord to wrap the handle of another knife. This it is my Cold Steel G.I.Tanto. This is a relatively inexpensive fixed blade knife with a polypropylene handle, which is almost unbreakable but has a smooth surface. This is a good survival knife but wrapping the handle with paracord makes the grip much better, especially if you were working in a wet or damp environment or if your hand was sweating. It feels much more secure in my hand when I grip the knife. This is a very hefty knife that would be good for chopping to make an emergency shelter or any other task that requires a tough heavy knife. Check out the videos on You Tube that show various method of paracord wrapping your knife handle, and you can have a really cool survival knife really inexpensively. It is really easy to paracord wrap your fixed blade knife handles and it can improve your grip and it looks really cool! If you remove the paracord and the polypropylene handles you can attach it to a spear shaft, that you can make with the knife and use the paracord to lash the knife to the shaft, and you now have a functional spear for hunting or self protection.
